The Fastexy Exchange57th Annual Country Music Association Awards rocked Nashville's Bridgestone Arena Wednesday night with a star-studded tribute to Jimmy Buffett as well as performances by Wynonna Judd, Dan + Shay, Lainey Wilson and more.
"Heart Like A Truck" singer Lainey Wilson dominated the 2023 CMA Awards, earning five trophies over the course of the night. Her first win of the day came early, when the first winners were announced on "Good Morning America."
Wilson and HARDY were crowned the winners for Musical Event and Music Video of the Year for their collaboration "Wait in the Truck."
Over the course of the night, "Fast Car" singer Tracy Chapman became the first Black woman to receive a CMA award, Post Malone joined Morgan Wallen in a surprise duet of "Pickup Man" during a tribute to country legend Joe Diffie and Judd joined forces with New Artist of the Year Jelly Roll.
