Tom Sandoval Apologizes to Ariana Madix for His “Reckless Decisions” Amid Breakup

Tom Sandoval is sur-ving up a public apology to his ex, Ariana Madix.
Nearly a week after the Vanderpump Rules stars called it quits—amid rumors he had a months-long affair with co-star Raquel Leviss—the 39-year-old penned a statement reflecting on his split from Ariana and everyone he's "hurt through this process."
"Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana," he wrote in a March 7 statement shared to Instagram. "I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly."
Tom, who dated Ariana for nine years before calling it quits, went on to note that he "can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us."
"I feel really horrible about that," he continued. "My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends."
Noting that his love for the 37-year-old was "stronger than any camera could ever have captured," Tom added that some of their "best times together were never filmed."
"The same goes for some of our biggest struggles," he wrote. "I wish things happened in a different order and our relationship was not severely tarnished, and that it ended with the same respect for her that it began with. I owed Ariana better."
Adding that he is "beyond sad that it ended the way it did," Tom concluded his statement by noting that his choices "hurt so many people."
"I acted in a way that clashes with who and how I want to be," the musician wrote. "I will continue to reflect and work on myself. I have work to do. I always have, and I always will."
The Schwartz & Sandy's co-owner's latest statement comes days after he broke his silence, asking fans to direct their "anger" towards him and not his business partners, family or friends.
Amid their breakup, Ariana deleted her Instagram and has not addressed their breakup publicly. Raquel also has not commented publicly on the allegations.
